ENGLISH

SELF-ASSESSMENT

In my opinion, I had improve in general. Especially, I´m better at writting, listening and vocabulary. But I still have to improve in translation.
This term, the grammar has been easier for me than the others.
In general, I thing I need to study more, but I´m happy about this months.

Cheerful: happy and optimistic.
Grumpy: bad-tempered.

PHRASAL VERBS

Cheer up: become or make somebody happier.
Slow down: start to do something less fast.
Face up: accept that a dificult situation exist.
Open up: talk about how you feel.
Feel blue: it means that you are sad.
Cut down: reduce the amount you take something.
Chill out: relax completely.
Calm down: become or make somebody quieter or more relaxed.
Work out: do physical exercise.

Grammar 

The passive -with be: Hormones are released by the brain.
                    -with get/have (have something done): I have had my hair cut (someone have cut my                             hair).
                    -it is said/known/think...that: It is said that solar powered will desapear.

Reflexive pronouns: myself, yourself, himself, hrself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves, each other/one another.

Conjunctions: either...or, neither...nor, both...and, not only...but.

Vocabulary

Technology: wireless, computer-generated, energy-saving, high-tech, sustainable.
Energy on the move: convert, store.
Verbs about the "Brain power": boost, crash, perform, release, rest.
Extra vocabulary: cogs, mad search, rush hour, rush out,ngreener, rather, tiles.
