ENGLISH
FIRST TERM       SELF-ASSESSMENT
What can I do that I couldn't do before?
I have managed to express myself better in English.
What did I like most?
I love the clases, because I enjoy a lot.
What are my greatest strengths and weaknesses?
-My greatest are the gramar and the writings.
-My weaknesses are the vocabulary and the listening.
What did I do well?
I think that I can do better, but I am happy because I am better in speaking.
What do I need help with?
I need help in the listenings and in vocabulary because I don’t know how to study.
What did I do in English outside the class?
I’m listening to music all the time.
What do I need to improve?
I need to improve in vocabulary, I need to study more.
What did I learn about culture?
About culture I learnt about Australian Aborigines, movies and also I learnt a lot of culture in Clarissa's lessons (about her country).
This term it was great, so funny and enjoyable.

Matinee: A showing of a movie in the daytime
Rating: System for evaluating how appropiate the movie is for various ages
Hit: Popular and succesful
Sequel: A movie that continues the sory o a previous film
Bombed: Failed
I was on the edge of mi seat the whole time: The movie was very interesting and exciting; you were so involved that you sat on the front part to get closer to the action
Breathtaking: Amazing
Left something to be desired: Not very good; you wish it was better
Trilogy: A serie of 3 movies
I have a hard time: I have difficulty
Premise: The idea or concept
Hard to follow: Difficult to understand or confusing as you were watching the movie
Twist: Unexpected turn of events
Implausible: Too unlikely, not probable, too difficult to belive
Ruined it: Made it bad
Touching: Affected you emotionally in a positive way (heartwarming)
Potty humor: Goss/disgusting, involves sex or bodily functions
Remake: A new version of an old movie

Cast: All the actors and actresses who participated in the movie
